Pam LaLonde
2035 Assistant Coach
Pam LaLonde grew up in Westchester County and is currently a physical education teacher for 19 years, having taught ages from kindergarten through eighth grade. Growing up Pam played softball, soccer, basketball, practiced Tae kwon do, field-hockey, and lacrosse excelling in field-hockey and lacrosse. In high school she was all conference field-hockey players as a senior and all conference lacrosse player her sophomore, junior and senior years. Pam continued her lacrosse career at Oneonta State College where she was co-captain her junior and senior year, was a member of the all SUNY-AC first team her sophomore, junior and senior year, a member of the ECAC Division III women’s upstate lacrosse team, a member of the STX North/South Exceptional Senior Lacrosse festival, and was a member of the All-American Second Team senior year. Pam also broke the draw control record for Oneonta State and was awarded Most Valuable Player her senior year.
From Pam’s field-hockey and lacrosse experience, she has implemented her knowledge, passion, and dedication into coaching for twenty years now. She has coached private and small group field-hockey lessons along with preparing athletes for success, including working with 6th and 7th graders specifically for their school’s team try-out. Although Pam has played and coached a variety of sports, she has focused much of her energy on coaching lacrosse. Pam has worked with the Bronxville Youth Lacrosse Association for 9 years, in which her 5th and 6th grade team won the entire CONNY Lacrosse tournament. She coached the Bronxville modified lacrosse team for three years and has coached for the Scarsdale Youth Lacrosse Association, West Lake/Mt. Pleasant Lacrosse Association, and at the indoor A-game facility. She currently coaches for Pelham Youth Lacrosse, Rye Youth Lacrosse and the Larchmont Mamaroneck Youth Lacrosse programs.
