Born in Blauvelt NY, Shayne picked up a lacrosse stick in seventh grade and played four years of varsity at Tappan Zee high school. She continued her career at Dominican College as as a 3 year starting attack and senior captain. She coaches Holy Child varsity B lacrosse and co-coaches Eastchester Blue Devils and is thankful to still be working in the sport she loves.
